Target Audience

This activity is intended for primary care clinicians and allied health providers who treat patients with type 2 diabetes.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

• Explain the pathophysiology of DME/DR, the importance of early screening, and the therapeutic treatment options including VEGF inhibitors.
• Describe and use available retina screening devices with and without AI to ensure compliance with ADA/AAO guidelines for regular screening of all patients with T2D
